Pledge to Purity Banquet

We had our Pledge to Purity Banquet at the beginning of March. I love having students and parents together in a formal setting and having kids seriously think about following God with areas of their lives that are pretty contrary to the path the world goes down.

One of the things we talked to our students about this year was the idea that “conforming to the patterns of this world” from Romans 12 is a passive thing. If we don’t think it it just happens. Many of these students were young believers so it was cool to see them taking a stand as part of their “being transformed.”
