Hi everyone who reads this…
Just wanted to say that I’m heading out the door to go be with my friend, Barb. Pray that I can encourage and love her and her children (Dan, too!)
The flying wasn’t as brutal as one would think, but the lady at the pharmacy in Chiang Mai who sold me that sleeping medication…well, let’s just say I woke up in the middle of one of my flights and thought I was gonna die, faint and/or throw up. Thailand should really invest in safe sleeping drugs that don’t make you wish you were dead. Thankfully, my liver pulled through and I’m better now.
Friends from Okinawa are putting me up and by that I mean, treating my like I’m royalty..handing me cars, GPS’s, phones…Shannon has the gift of hospitality like no other, and I feel so ready and loved to go and love my friends. Pray for me…there was a reason my profession is not nursing, and most of that is because I get the heeby-jeebies around medical stuff (unless it’s my own, at which point, I can bring the whole room to either a laughing fit!…which would not be appropriate here).
