Well, we pulled off the birthday party for Jack, albeit a little bit late (like 2 weeks!) His guitar cake and train set were a hit as he was surrounded by people he loved and who, amazingly enough, love him! (This can be a trial sometimes, but well worth the effort!) Pizza, wings, lumpia and blue frosting led to a successful night. I thought of the verse that talks about how evident it was that people had been with Jesus…as every blue-tongued person on Kadena were EVIDENTLY coming from Jack’s big bash. A little lesson as we walked around with blue teeth!
