These are pictures that I was taking when I thought I already had a bunch of pictures of the normal parts of the house.  Hopefully I will have those up soon as well.  On the left is a picture of our front yard from the roof which is three levels above the ground.  The yard consists of the weeds that are growing in the picture.  At the corner our house is only about 1 foot from the road.  On the right is a picture of the cloudy sky about 5:30 one morning.  You can't tell very well in this picture but we can see a sliver of the Pacific from our second floor and roof.  Sometimes the sunrises are pretty cool.  The island is only about 7-8 miles wide where we live so it's only a short drive to see really cool sunsets as well.

One of the weird things over here is our milk.  We get ultra-pasturized milk that is supposed to stay good forever.  We bought this milk on June 13 and the Sell by Date is not until the 3 of August.  Almost 2 months away.  When it goes bad it doesn't smell like bad milk in the states either.  It took me two mornings in a row of getting sick to realize that I was drinking bad milk one day.
